Non-Toxic Tip #1 - Fragrance
Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 9:04PM Here’s the first in a new series on my Natural Beautee blog called “Non-Toxic Tips.” Sometimes you don’t need to do a lot to embrace natural beauty but the effects can be significant!
For those with sensitive skin who sometimes have reactions to fragrance, or for those of you who try to avoid putting toxic chemicals on your skin, instead of wearing perfume on your skin, you can wear linen spray on your clothes! I learned this little trick 3rd hand from Jo Malone when I was visiting her shop in Sloane Square. A shop assistant told me that Jo loved wearing Parma Violets Tea linen spray on her clothes and I have to agree with her, I love it too! Plus I’ve noticed that the scent seems to last longer on my clothes than my previous perfume did on my skin. If you don’t feel like running out and buying room spray, you can still follow this tip by using your normal fragrance on your clothes. Although linen sprays have come a long way since Febreze!
